Our ceremonial matcha comes from traditional tea gardens in Aichi, Japan. We use the youngest leaves from the first harvest, which are carefully processed and traditionally stone-ground. Each batch is tested for pesticides and heavy metals.
The result is a finely balanced matcha with a gentle umami flavor and a vibrant green color.
Preparation
Mix 1–2 bamboo spoons of matcha with about 30 ml of water (70–80 °C) into a fine, smooth paste—ideally with a bamboo whisk.
Then add 40–50 ml of water and whisk the matcha until a fine foam forms.
Next, dilute with 100–200 ml of water or milk to taste.
Enjoy hot or cold.
Makes approx. 25–30 servings.
